This policy explains how Barq handles your data when you visit this site or contact us. Barq is a price engine serving gold-sector systems, and this site is its public front.

Browsing and fonts

The pages of this site are stateless, so we write no session and set no advertising tracking cookies. Fonts are self-hosted on our server, and the only third party loaded is the usage-measurement tool explained in the next section.

Analytics (Google Analytics)

We use Google Analytics 4 on the live version of the site to understand how our pages are used in aggregate (most-visited pages, device and browser type, approximate country), so we can improve the content and the experience. This tool sets cookies in your browser such as _ga and _gid.

We do not link this data to your name, do not use it to identify you personally, and do not sell it. Google Analytics 4 does not retain your IP address.

You can opt out of this measurement by installing Google's official "Google Analytics Opt-out" browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.

Preferences stay on your device

When you choose the language, currency or dark mode, your choice is stored locally in your browser only, to improve your experience. These preferences are not sent to us and are not used to identify you.

What you send through the contact form

When you fill in the contact form, we collect what you write, your name, your entity or company if you mention it, the contact channel you leave, and a description of your need.

  • We use this data for one purpose, to reply to your request and understand your need.
  • We do not sell your data and do not share it for marketing.
  • We keep it only as long as needed to reach you, then delete it when it is no longer needed.

Security

We protect what you send with reasonable technical and organisational measures, and we never ask you for passwords or financial data through this site.

You can request to access, correct or delete the data you sent us, by reaching out through the contact page.
